Artifacts is Upper Deck’s mid-priced hockey set built around memorabilia: jersey swatches, patches, sticks and a lot of numbered parallels. The 2026-27 hobby release came out September 16, with blasters following a week later.
A hobby box is eight packs of four cards and runs about $165. You get two hits, about one Aurum card, a rookie redemption or acetate, and four numbered base cards. The catch for anyone checking odds: Upper Deck only published odds for a handful of those hits. Most of them are numbered autos and relics that come with a print run and nothing else.

Eight packs of four cards. Hits are autographs, memorabilia or premium inserts. One source puts that down from three hits in recent years. Boxes also average about one Aurum card, a rookie redemption or acetate, and four numbered base cards.
Six packs of four cards for $29.99. Each box has six Aqua Blue parallels, and Jade Green parallels numbered to 100 are blaster only. Auto Facts fall 1 in 1,000 packs.

What the numbers say
Five things the published odds and three weeks of sales tell you.
- 83%of hobby hits have no published odds
01Most of what you'll pull, Upper Deck didn't give odds for.
Of the two hits in a hobby box, only about a third of one comes from sets with published odds: Auto Facts, NHL Remnants, Threads of Time, Top Tier Rookie Signatures and the rookie auto redemptions. The rest are numbered Material cards, Black autographs, Cold Hard Facts and similar cards with print runs only. We show those print runs instead of guessing at odds.
- ~$20typical sale of a numbered auto or relic
02Those numbered hits are where the value sits.
Across about 250 sales since release, numbered autos and relics from Artifacts sold for a median of about $20. The spread is wide: a quarter sold under $7 and a quarter over $57. A big rookie's Material auto can clear several hundred dollars.
- 1 in 5.3hobby boxes has an Auto Facts
03Auto Facts is the autograph you can count on seeing.
It falls 1 in 38 hobby packs. Most of the 49 signers sell for $3 to $10. Lane Hutson has sold for around $99, and the one Connor Bedard sale so far was $247.50.
- 1 in 84hobby boxes has a Top Tier Rookie Signature
04Top Tier is the rookie auto to hope for.
The 2026-27 version falls 1 in 1,000 packs and the 2025-26 update 1 in 2,000. Early sales run from about $16 to over $460, with James Hagens, Matthew Schaefer and Porter Martone at the top.
- 1 in 167blasters has an Auto Facts
05Blasters are for parallels.
A blaster has no guaranteed hits. You'd expect an NHL Remnants relic in about one of every 27 blasters and an Auto Facts in one of 167. What you do get is six Aqua Blue parallels per box.

How we got these
How we got these numbers
Odds are Upper Deck’s published pack odds. Blaster odds come from Upper Deck’s own store page. “1 in 40” means you’d expect one in 40 of that purchase. It doesn’t mean the 40th one is due.
Upper Deck guarantees two hits per hobby box. Where it didn’t publish odds, we take what’s left of those two hits after the published sets and show it as one share of numbered autos and relics, priced at their typical sale.
Values are raw eBay sales from September 16 to October 7, 2026. Best Offer sales are left out because eBay shows them at the asking price.
What to keep in mind
- Player odds only cover sets with published odds. A player’s numbered Material, Black auto and other cards are listed with print runs.
- Auto Facts has short prints marked SP and SSP, but Upper Deck didn’t publish separate odds for them, so every signer is treated the same.
- Some prices rest on one sale so far. Those are marked.
- Sources disagree on a few numbers: Aurum odds (we use 1 in 14 packs, which matches about one Aurum per box) and Threads of Time (we use 1 in 450).
